Po tem, ko so pred kratkim turnejo odpovedali White Ward, je ista usoda doletela blackened death metalce 1914 iz Ukrajine. Upamo, da se stvari umirijo in nas bo zasedba lahko obiskala letos poleti na festivalu Črna Loka. Sledi bandova izjava za medije:

»Many of you could have been noticing a recent wave of European tours cancellations by UA bands. Unfortunately, 1914 is not an exception here. With heavy hearts we must inform you that we cannot play for our fans this April and have to cancel our upcoming tour.

Just to make it clear, it is still a 'wartime' on the territory of our land, and this specific time makes it impossible to leave the borders by the men of a conscript age. How could we travel last year? It was possible to get a special permission from the state authorities for the artists to leave the country and do shows and other activities in order to aid the country and spead the truth about unprovoked and brutal war started by russia. There were some irresponsible people who used such permissions to leave the country and never come back, and after it became public and went through a media - the state authorities stopped granting the special permissions for the artists by artificially overcomplicating the process of getting all the necessary documents, by enlarging the list of the documents and making it impossible for bands to obtain what is needed. This affected a lot of different bands in UA.

Last couple of weeks for us were in a constant fight with that new stupid system trying to show that we had a positive experience of returning back home after foreign tours, trying to display the value of such tours for our country benefit, but no matter how hard we tried - we couldn't break that system and it made impossible for us to go and play this time. We want to apologize to our fans, other bands, promoters, but currently we are powerless here. We will work hard to be able to get to our other shows this year, maybe the ice will melt and we will see some easement in the future, but currently we just did everything we could.

Zasedbo As I Lay Dying je zapustil dolgoletni basist in »clean« vokalist Josh Gilbert. Bil je član AILD dobrih 15 let, za odhod pa se je odločil zaradi želje po razvijanju svoje glasbe drugje. Za zasedbo je bil tik pred turnejo to kar velik udarec, a so že dobili zamenjavo. Ryan Neff (Miss May I) bo prevzel tako vokalne dolžnosti kot baskitaro, poleg njega pa se bo kot drugi kitarist zasedbi na turneji pridružil še Ken Susi (Unearth).

Metalcorovci August Burns Red sporočajo, da so se zaradi finančnih razlogov ter naraščajočih stroškov same izvedbe turneje odločili odpovedati junijsko turnejo po Evropi. Vsem oboževalcem pa band zagotavlja, da se bo vrnil na staro celino jeseni, in sicer z zasedbami Bury Tomorrow, Miss May I in Thornhill.

Zasedba Miss May I je posnela videospot za komad Under Fire, ki se nahaja na aktualnem albumu Shadows Inside.

Ameriška melodična metalcore zasedba Sink The Ship je objavila videospot za skladbo Everything, v kateri na vokalu gostje tudi Levi Benton (Miss May I). Omenjena skladba se nahaja na njihovem prihajajočem albumu Persevere, ki izide 27. aprila pri založbi SharpTone Records.

Harm's Way predstavljajo skladbo Human Carrying Capacity s četrtega studijskega albuma z naslovom Posthuman, ki bo izšel 9. februarja pri založbi Metal Blade Records. Album je produciral Will Putney, kitarist ameriške deathcore zasedbe Fit For An Autopsy, sicer pa poznan po svojem delu s skupinami, kot so Body Count, Thy Art Is Murder, For Today, The Acacia Strain in Miss May I.

Ameriška metalcore zasedba Stray From The Path je objavila videospot za naslovno skladbo novega studijskega albuma Only Death Is Real, ki bo izšel jutri pri založbi Sumerian Records. Za snemanje, produkcijo, miks in mastering je zopet poskrbel preverjeni Will Putney (Body Count, Thy Art Is Murder, For Today, The Acacia Strain, Miss May I) ob pomoči Jesseja Barnetta iz skupine Stick To Your Guns, medtem ko na albumu gostujejo tudi Keith Buckley (Every Time I Die, The Damned Things), Bryan Garris (Knocked Loose) in hip-hoper Vinnie Paz (Jedi Mind Tricks).

Miss May I so objavili skladbo Casualties z najnovejšega studijskega albuma Shadows Inside, ki je izšel konec prejšnjega tedna pri založbi SharpTone Records.

Miss May I predstavljajo videospot za naslovno skladno najnovejšega albuma Shadows Inside, ki bo izšel 2. junija pri založbi SharpTone Records. Album sta producirala Drew Fulk (Motionless In White, Emmure, Crown The Empire) in Nick Sampson (Asking Alexandria, Born Of Osiris), medtem ko je bil za miks odgovoren Andrew Wade (A Day To Remember, The Word Alive, Neck Deep).

Metalizirana hardcore zasedba First Blood iz San Francisca bo v petek pri založbi Pure Noise Records izdala novi studijski album z naslovom Rules, ki mu lahko v celoti že prisluhnete na tej povezavi. To je prvi album skupine v zadnjih sedmih letih, za produkcijo pa je poskrbel izkušeni Will Putney (Body Count, For Today, The Acacia Strain, Thy Art Is Murder, Miss May I, Upon A Burning Body).
